Picking the title from the popular song in Kannada cinema ‘Sarvagna Mathomme Hutti Baa’ is going on the floor soon and the film on the 16th century ‘Tripadi’ – known as Pragmatist, poet, philosopher and monk is now striking on the screen.

What Dr Rajakumar had done in 1965 is now played in a different format by Santosh a former student of AS Murthy Abhinaya Tharanga. Santosh is staying with the director Shivakumar since three months. He has learnt some of the required mood known more about ‘Sarvagna’. I am not interested in running around trees with heroines. I was always looking for roles of this standard he pointed in his address. He is ready to tonsure his head daily for this film.

Shivakumar director, story and screenplay writer is also producer of this film in his wife Nagarathna name. The script is based on Uttangi Channappa. I have not deviated from it. From the tripadis of Sarvagna I have made the script. It is very relevant to the present generation promises the director. He has traveled the places where the 16th century philosopher moved around. He has found a village near Mysore as the best suitable place for shooting. He is shooting at Talkad as the ancient environment is supportive to this film. Around 300 ‘Tripadis’ he is using from nearly 3000 stock found so far.

I am not doing this film keeping in mind the government grant of Rs.25 lakhs or Television right money. I am doing in the budget conducive to me

The child role of Sarvagna – he is named like that by birth – is played by Master Chiraj Raghavendra, Santosh in chilhood and after that is Santosh taking up till end.

Thara, pavithra Lokesh, Umasri, Jayasri, Sudharani, Sumathisri, Doddanna, Dingri Nagaraj, Ramakrishna, Srinivasamurthy, Sridhar, Sanjay, Ashok, Ramesh Bhat, Bank Janardhan, Umesh Biradar, Shanker Patil and others are in the cast.
